B Vinod Kumar, Vice Chairman, Planning Board, Government of Telangana has attended as chief guest and Dr. SK Joshi, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana was the Guest of Honor. While speaking on this occasion B. Vinod Kumar has suggested the young graduates to find out the way to develop agriculture in the country and think of new innovative Ideas to make the agriculture profitable to the farmers.

He further suggested that, the young students must venture into the agriculture business and captured the opportunities in this sector. And also search innovative ideas for marketing of the farm produce he said. Mr B Vinod kumar has told about the initiatives of the Telangana state Government in the agricultural sector for profitable to the farmers. he said that Telangana has become the case study for other states by implementing of several novel schemes for the welfare of the farmers. he assured that Telangana will be played a great role in the country by the setting of examples in the agriculture sector. He requested the organizers to conduct similar workshops in the rural areas to encourage the rural youth in agribusiness for remain in the agriculture profession.

Dr SK Joshi, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana has suggested the students to take up the agri entrepreneurship in a large scale rather than seeking for jobs, they can provide jobs he added. The universities must see that, at least 10 percent of their students turned to Agri entrepreneurs he said. he appreciated the efforts of the vice Chancellor of PJTSAU Dr V Praveen Rao for organising such important workshop in the university. he suggested the VC is to plan to set up the T- Agri Hub in the university for encouraging the agribusiness.

Dr RS Paroda, Former DG ICAR has given the overview of the two days workshop. he presented the highlights of the workshop and he suggested the There is a need to create an enabling environment to the youth to remain in agriculture. The agriculture subject must teach at the school level, so that young students may choose agriculture as a profession he said.

Dr V Praveen Rao, Vice-Chancellor PJTSAU has delivered the welcome address and told about the technical sessions held in the workshop. Mr Vijay Kumar, CGM of NABARD has also spoke on this occasion.
