People think that it would be wise for Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth to come together in the age of coalition politics. When National parties like Congress are compromising the power for stopping the BJP, it is time that the regional leaders also sink their differences and come together for better results.
Long back Rajini and Kamal have acted together in a movie called Giraftar a Bollywood flick and it was hit. Later they parted ways for earning good money individually and the rest is history. Now they have entered politics for the sake of people but they are not sure if they could win on an individual basis.
This is the era of coalition politics and it was successful in UP and other states. It is reported that there was a secret meeting between the film stars and they are of the opinion that Kamal and Rajini must come together to win the next election. There could be a split in the vote if they decide on contesting separately.
Both of them are holding the cards close to the chest and they might announce the alliance just before the elections. Both Kamal and Rajini have come to the rescue of each other on the issue of Cauvery waters. In fact, the statement caused quite a trouble for Rajini and his movie Kaala could not be released in Karnataka.
But if these superstars join hands the results will be good for them and it will be better for Tamilnadu politics.
