US – India Defense Conference in Hyderabad

The U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad is hosting the U.S.-India Defense Ties Conference on December 18-19 at the Taj Krishna Hotel, Hyderabad.

The Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organizing the conference in partnership with the U.S. Consulate. This conference will bring together government officials, corporate leaders, researchers, and entrepreneurs to build on both countries’ achievements and further strengthen U.S.-India collaboration in defence manufacturing and innovation.

Mr. Joel Starr, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, U.S. Department of State will deliver a keynote address.

Mr. Alexander Lopes, Director, Office of Nonproliferation and Treaty Compliance, U.S. Department of Commerce will join DAS Starr and colleagues from the Indian government on a keynote panel.

The conference will have eight-panel discussions across two days, with representation from top U.S and Indian companies, such as: Lockheed Martin India, Raytheon Technologies, Alpha Design Technologies, Genesys Aerosystems, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge, and Honeywell Aerospace Strategic Business Group.
