Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathi played role of a transgender in Super Deluxe and the character was named Shilpa. Vijay has got a huge appreciation for his performance as a transgender.
But, many people from that community are angry over this as they dont like the story as they got portrayed in a wrong way. the character Shilpa kidnaps two children and hand them over to someone to earn money.
transgender community people found the story hurting their sentiments. They demanded to arrest actor Vijay Sethupathi.they say “We had good regard for Vijay Sethupathi but he had ruined the impression by doing this film. His dialogues were solely on a transgender person kidnapping children. Can anyone recall of such a crime committed by a transgender person? how Vijay did not reject the story as soon as he heard it.”
Super Deluxe film has gained both positive and negative responses worldwide.
