The Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Monday expressed confidence that she could pick up the Telugu language in another fortnight and would like to converse with the people of the state in their own language.

The Governor, who took charge on Sunday, went round various wings of the Raj Bhavan today and interacted with the officers and staff members. She said that soon after her appointment as the State Governor and before coming to Hyderabad she has studied the socio-economic issues of the State.

Being a medical doctor the Governor wanted the staff members to be perfectly fit personally and explained to them that she does yoga every day and walk extensively. She said she expects the Raj Bhavan employees too to follow and maintain good health.

She said she moves in a friendly manner with the employees and at the same time she expects them to be perfect in the discharge of their duties.

The Governor, who went around the Raj Bhavan library is well appreciative of the mobilisation of the books and said that her personal library too has about 5,000 books which will soon be added to the library here.
