Tamilisai talks Bathukamma with PM

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sounderrajan talked about the bathukamma festival of Telangana with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While giving him a report of the activities being taken up here at Rajbhavan in Hyderabad.

Tamilisai also explained to Modi on the Bathukamma celebrations done here in the state and also specifically at Rajbhavan for 5 days.

She said that the festival was about 9 days, and in Rajbahvan she celebrated it for 5 days. It is like worshipping the flowers and also the climate.

Tamilisai also told the governor about the Yoga awareness being created in the state through Rajbhavan.
There are reports that she could have given a report on the ongoing RTC strike, but there is no confirmation as yet over the issue.

It is learnt that she has a given an account of the ongoing things in the state with photos and also text.

Prime Minister Modi heard Tamilisai for about forty minutes. He also gave a return gift to her. Tamilisai was wearing a Saree with a combination of green and saffron the colour of the BJP flag.

She also talked about one or two initiatives that she wanted to take up in the state of Telangana and the Prime Minister have to give a green signal for the same.

Prime Minister was more or less with the way Tamilisai was socialising with the people and political parties of Telangana.

The approach of former Governor Narasimhan was authoritative while Tamilisai was adopting a friendly approach.
