Siricilla should be clean and green

While complimenting the officials for successfully completing the 30-day program of sanitation in Siricilla, K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT wanted the official machinery in the district to formulate strategies for further improving the status and condition of the Siricilla.

He reviewed the pattern of development here in Hyderabad and said that they were able to see that there was no open defecation in the district. He said that the garbage should be separated so that it can be recycled and used for the production of power.

While KCR the Chief Minister was busy with monitoring the RTC strike here at Pragathi Bhavan, KTR was reviewing on the development of the district.

The Rain harvesting and water harvesting pits also should be dug across the district and if needed must take the help of the Government agencies. 90000 houses must have the rain harvesting pits he suggested.

The local public representatives and also the public, in general, must be involved in digging the rainwater harvesting pits he suggested. So far about 10000 pits were dug or rainwater harvesting he stated.

The minister took stock of the situation of the development works here in the district and has given orders to the officials of various departments for further development.

The development should be balanced and it must spread to all areas equally he ordered the officials. District collector Krishna Bhaskar and other officials of different departments were present for the review.
