Shivsena leaders are doubly confident that they would come to power in Maharashtra. But so far nothing has been finalised and the BJP is sitting on the fence watching the developments.
It is like a yes-no and yes no situation prevailing in Maharashtra. Uddhav is hell-bent upon grabbing the CM post for Sena. Sharad Pawar the NCP leader is meeting Sonia Gandhi the Congress leader to finalise the deliberations.
Congress, on the other hand, is not in a hurry for the time being. The NCP is also nursing the idea of forming the Government in Maharashtra. Political analysts are pondering as to why the BJP is not in a hurry to form the government.
There were allegations that the BJP was involved in horse-trading. But so far there were no signs of that kind here in Maharashtra. But there is one common opinion that the kitchidi government may not lost long.
Some of them are of the opinion that the BJP should get the CM post and the Sena must concede to the Deputy CM post leaving aside the so-called concept of the 50/50.
Union Ministers Amit Shah and Gadkari are watching the power game here in Maharashtra. They are ready to take advantage of any of the situations that may arise out of the Kitchidi formation here.
