Syeraa Narasimha Reddy needs no big promotion in Telugus states, but it requires a lot of push in Bollywood. Especially with WAR, the film of Hrithik and Tiger being released on the same date.
Konidela productions headed by Charan is working out a strategy so that Syeraa reaches the Hindi audience too. They are planning to rope in Darling Prabhas for the public as he is popular with Baahubali across the country.
It is reported that after the average Success of Saaho Prabhas is also looking for some ventilation and the Syeraa function will give him an opportunity to move with the megastar Chiranjeevi. Here Prabahs will praise the unit of Syeraa in a big way.
First, they will test the waters in Bollywood for Prabahs and then would see if he should be used for other languages also. If the movie catches up with the audience, they may not take Prabhas also.
But Ramcharan from Konidela productions has earlier bailed out Prabahs from the red when he was shooting for Saaho. Ramcharan has invested in Saaho.
October 2 is an acid test for Chiranjeevi and Konidela productions. Competing with WAR for Syeraa will be difficult. People in the North will be looking for a straight Hindi movie and then comes the Syeraa from Tollywood.
