Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan today said that the Rs 5 meal is linked to the poor and needy in the city who are having issues with the Coronavirus lockdown.
Rammaohan said that all-out efforts are being made to see that Corona does not spread in the city. The people of Hyderabad must maintain physical distance to arrest the situation he said.
Under the direction of teh Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao all arrangements are being made to see that the situation is under control he explained.
He suggested the people not to come in big numbers and create chaos and confusion on the streets. Rammohan said that big donors are coming forward to provide food to needy people in the city on a daily basis.
On the other hand, Maharashtra and Kerala are having a large number of cases. Karnataka is third in terms of Coronavirus cases. Rammohan assured that people should not panic but they should be careful.
On Saturday 8 cases have been reported from Hyderabad. Most people returning from Delhi are getting a positive result after tests.
