No drought in Karimnagar

There will be no issue for water here in Karimnagar said KCR the Chief Minister of Telangana. We have created history by providing Godavari waters and the groundwater table has also increased significantly he said.

Addressing the media here after doing Pooja at Mid Maneru he said that there is the flow of about 140 kilometres of water stream in Karimnage he said.

The water will be there for all the 365 days he explained. The commitment to the development of irrigation in the state of Telangana was made in 2001.

1230 check dams are being constructed and major are in the Karimanagar district with a cost outlay of 1258 crore he explained. The dams will be completed in 2 years he assured.

Maneru river will have 40 check dams and they must get filled by next June he said. The drought is over in Karimnagar he said. Checkdams for Mulavagu will also be built he assured.

I am very happy today said KCR. There will be no political differences in development he said. The Congress -BJP has no knowledge of anything in the state he chided.There will be seepage and it helps the dam to be safe he stated.
