Cine actor Naresh lit the funeral pyre for Vijayanirmala his mother at the Chilkur Vijaya Krishna gardens here in Hyderabad. His family members and fans came in large numbers to pay their last respects to the multitalented actor and director today.
Earlier CM of Jagan paid his last respects at her house in Nanakramguda. Gallajaydev the MP from Guntur and Galla Aruna the TDP leader attended the funeral.
Family members and fans shouted Govinda, Govinda during the last journey. Naresh found it very difficult to walk without footwear and was about to fall several times. People around him helped Naresh to walk with balance.
It rained for a while when the last rites were being performed by Naresh the son of Vijayanirmala. Grandson Vijayakrishna was also present at the funeral pyre.
After kissing his mother on the forehead Naresh was in tears for sometime. Krishna also wept like a child when the funeral pyre was lit. Senior star Krishnam Raju and his wife were also seen during the funeral procession of Vijayanirmala.
