Prime Minister Narendra Modi today had the darshan of Lord Venkateswara here at TTD. He was accompanied by the Governor Narasimhan Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, Union Minister of state for Home Kishan Reddy DGP Gowtham Sawang and others. After darshan, he was blessed by the Priests here at Ananda Nilayam and was given Prasadam. He was presented with a photo of Lord Balaji also. Modi said that he was blessed by the lord for ruling the country for the second time.
He entered the Temple from the main entrance. Modi has spent about40 minutes in the Temple. He was given a traditional welcome by the Temple priests here. The regular Darshan line and all other darshans were stopped for more than an hour. Being a Sunday there was a heavy rush at the Temple. Unprecedented bundobust arrangements were made here for the Prime Ministers visit. TTD EO Singhal and Dollar Seshadri the senior priest were seen with the Prime Minister here. Some Ministers have also come for the darshan after the Prime Minister.
