There is an all-round talk across the country that Prime Minister Modi will go all out to woo the voters with the Interim Budget to be presented on February 1 here in the parliament. The Budget will concentrate on relieving the rural distress in the first place through appeasement of the farming community. Like the TRS Government, the Central Government might go in for the direct money transfer to help the farmers. This is one way to stop the suicides of the farming community. The second thing that the NDA Government would do is to increase the Income-tax limit from 2.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs. Up to 5 lakhs thee will be no tax.

The other thing is that people who would get an annual income of less than 8 lakhs will be called Economic Backward classes. All the EBCs will be eligible for reservations in education and also Jobs. This is reservation on the basis of income and financial condition. Apart from this, the BJP government will also announce concessions to the medium and small scale industries. The GST will be further simplified. The housing sector will also get a boost. The loans and the interest rates will be simplified.
