A film on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is going on and its director Vijaya Ratnakar has been arrested by the sleuths of the GST Intelligence. He did an illegal transaction to the extent of Rs 34 crore and was arrested. He has shown wrong postings in terms of another company and is due to the Government. The GST intelligence has found out the irregularities and arrested him. The film titled the accidental Prime Minister is scheduled for release on December 21 according to the sources. A company related to the director by name VRG claimed a credit of Rs 34 crore towards GST was completely illegal.
On the other hand, the actor Anupam Kher is acting as the former PM Manmohan Singh. The story is based on the book the making of the PM Manmohan Singh by his press secretary Sanjaya baru. Based on that the movie is being made. The story suggests that Manmohan was a mere rubber stamp and was controlled by the Gandhi family. Since Sonia Gandhi was stopped by President Kalam from becoming the PM as she was an Italian, Sonia nominated Manmohan as a rubber stamp avoiding Pranab Mukherjee in the last minute.
