Union Minister of state for Home Gangapuram Kishan Reddy was also a chaiwala like Prime Minister Modi. Modi used to sell Tea in the railway stations, but our Kishan Reddy from Telangana used to organise tea and snacks for the Media who came for the press conferences. Kishan used to live in the 5 B MLA quarters which had an asbestos roof.
Kishan has been working for the party right from his college days and used to take care of the seniors who came to the party. He was like a coordinator and logistics man here. Kishan also used to organise dharnas and also actively participate in them. A very good friend of the media, Kishan used to take care of tea snack and also some times food on his own.
There are several times when he organised lunch for the media at the MLAs canteen. So we can say that people associated with Tea have made it big in the BJP. Even Modi used to organise Tea and Snack for the media in the Delhi office and also took care of the sweeping swapping of the party office. Kishan lived for more than 14 years in the party office. Bandaru Dattatreya the former Union Minister also lived in party office for some time along with Kishan Reddy. Both of them used to spend time together.
