KCR meets PM Modi for zonal system-politics

Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao has met the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday afternoon (25-08-2018). During the meeting, CM has discussed several subjects pertaining to the state. There was some political discussion about the early poll in Telangana. 

CM  also requested the Prime Minister to give approval and clearance to the newly created Zonal System in the Telangana State. The CM will also brief the PM in detail the necessity of New Zonal System.

CM also has discussed the division of High Court issue with the PM. The CM will request the PM to expedite the division of High Court. Among other subjects, the CM will discuss with the PM on, providing Government of India funds to the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project.

He requested for the allotment of Defence Land for secretariat building construction, amending the constitution for enhancement of reservations, release of funds for development of backward districts, establishing IIIT in Karimnagar, establishing Jawahar Navodaya educational institutions in the newly formed districts etc. He also asked for the ITIR to be set up in Hyderabad. 

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao called on Union Minister of Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad and discussed the subject of a division of High Court. CM requested him to divide the High Court at the earliest. CM also discussed with the Union Minister the subject of newly created Zonal System and approval by the Government of India.
