Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan today welcomed the Prime Minister Modi along with Governor Narasimhan and Union Minister of state Kishan Reddy at Renigunta Airport. Jagan touched the feet of Modi twice. But Modi stopped him from touching the feet.Narendra Modi landed at the Rengunta airport and will have the darshan of Lord Venkateswara here in Tirupathi. Jagan in this context gave a memorandum to the Prime Minister reminding him of the special status and also urged the Chief Minister to release Rs 75000 crore which were due since a long time to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

He said that the state was in need of the funds and that the centre must come to the rescue of the state at the earliest possible. On the other hand, the TTD authorities have prepared a memento to be presented to the PM Modi. But later the TTD officers thought it was not wise to do the same and stopped the same. On the other hand, the BJP leaders who spoke at the Renigunta meeting just before the arrival of PM Modi abused Chandrababu and his Government with their choice of words. They abused Chandrababu as Gaja Donga. They also found fault with Mamata and also Rahul Gandhi here at the Tirupathi meeting.
