The remake of 96 the super hit movie has been named as Jaanu. It is getting ready for release on February 7 next year. Sethupathi the popular actor was the hero for 96.
The same is being remade in Telugu by Dil Raju as the producer. 96 director is taking care of the direction in Telugu also. Samantha is the leading lady along with Sherwanand.
The movie was made on a fast track and the shooting part is over. Now the post-production works are going on. it is a romantic thriller and Samantha has done exceedingly well with Sherwanand it is reported.
For Sherwa it was like a learning experience with a senior actor who has a number of hits to her credit in many languages. Premkumar has directed 96 and the same man is directing Sherwanand and Samantha for Telugu also.
It is reported that Dil Raju and his team are happy with the outcome of the movie in Telugu and are expecting a big hit. The chemistry between Samantha and Sherwanand has worked out very well they believe.
