PM Narendra Modi in his latest and first Mann Ki Baat after taking over as the PM of the country for the second time said that he has faith in the people and that was the reason he was confident. Modi said that he was not overconfident as quoted by some people. Modi said that he knew that people believed in his governance and was confident of coming back to power. That is the reason he promised to meet the audience on Mann Ki Baat in a few months time. Today he talked to them and also thanked them for voting overwhelmingly.

In his latest talk on Radio Modi waned people to conserve water. He said that there are no hard and fast rules for conserving water and that it depends on the region to region. He said that if the people dont take serious steps to save the water they would be in trouble in the near future. The scorching heat and especially the delayed monsoon worsened the situation. The situation in Chennai is horrible.Offices and institutions were closed due to paucity of water and people have started working from Home to save water.

On the other hand, this is the first Radio talk after Modi has won with a better mandate when compared to 2014. Some leaders from the regional parties have expected that the Congress and the BJP will not be in a position to form the Government. But Modi got a resounding victory and there was no scope for a Federal or an alternative front.
