Harish Rao the Minister for Finance was talking a meeting on Swachch and Healthy Siddipet. Harish said that usage of plastic was the reason for some of the cancers and that the sellers of food should stop using plastic as it is one of the reasons for getting cancer.
He said that some of the Dhabas located in and around Siddipet are very popular and that students are coming here in large number. They must get good and clean food he stressed.
packing of food and other items in plastic must be stopped he suggested to the shop keepers and also the hoteliers. A training program by the Government officers would be specifically held for the hoteliers and also the shop keepers in packing of the food he said.
He also cautioned that 5 chances would be given go the hoteliers here in Siddipet. If they don’t fall in line and stop the usage of plastic they would be penalised he said. They must not come to a situation wherein the government would be penalised he said.
Clean and neat food must be provided to the customers he stated. He also warned the Gup Chup sellers to maintain quality. There are 700 eateries here in the district and about 2000 workers are there he explained.
If they fail in quality, they will be warned and then they will be fined. If they don’t fall in line they will be closed he said. He suggested them to maintain good quality and flourish in business.
The hotels will be given green, yellow and red certificates depending upon the status he announced. Don’t fall into the red category he warned.
