Governor -CM welcome Modi in Hyderabad

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Hyderabad today evening at about 6.30 in the evening at Shamshabad airport. He was greeted by the Governor Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao , Cabinet ministers, BJP functionaries and other police chiefs.

After the welcome, the PM took the CM and Governor aside and discussed with them some issues for few minutes. It was an animated discussion, The Governor heard it with rapt attention while the CM KCR nodded his head to PMs words.

On the other hand PM will address the annual Director General of Police (DGP) conference on Saturday.

The three-day long annual DGP conference is scheduled to take place at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, located at Shivaramapalli in Cyberabad, Hyderabad.

Police chiefs from all Indian states and Union territories as well as the heads of para-military forces and intelligence agencies will be present at the conference.

The theme of this year’s conference is cross-border terrorism, radicalisation and left-wing extremism.
Subjects like cyber crime and police reforms will also be discussed.

The conference, organised by the Intelligence Bureau, will be formally inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. It will witness the presence of National Secuirity Advisor Ajit Doval, and Minister of State Kiren Rijiju and Hansraj Gangaram Ahir.

Prime Minister Modi who arrived in Hyderabad today will stay at Rajasthan Bhavan of the National Police Academy.He will have dinner at the Academy. He will address the conference tomorrow and leaving in the evening.

According to sources, Modi will also take part in a yoga session on Saturday morning and will adress the GDP conference after that.The media is kept away from the function, while the security in and around the academy has been tightened.
