Stephen Ravindra is one cop who has become popular since the days of Telangana agitation. Stephen did a good job even after the formation of Telangana and was a blue-eyed boy for the Telangana Government.
There was talk that the Nayeem operation was supervised by Stephen Ravindra. Stephen is a dedicated cop who does the given job very well. Taking this into consideration the YSRC Government led by Jaganmohan Reddy has written to the KCR Government to give Stephen to Andhra.
KCR agreed for the same but the centre did not respond to the request given by Jagan.
Stephen even rushed to Andhra and stayed there for about a month expecting the orders from the centre. But there was no response from the centre,he had to remain in Telangana.
It is reported that Jagan who met the Home Minister Amit Shah has once again requested him to see that Ravindra was posted to Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan is interested in posting Stephen as the Intelligence chief.
But another cop PSR Anjaneyulu who was also in the thick and thin of Telangana agitation who was in Delhi just came back to AP an is in vigilance department.
While PSR could manage to come back to AP from Delhi, Stephen is unable to go to Andhra from Telangana.
