K.Vijay Kumar, PC 6549 of Rajendranagar Traffic Police Station has done an extraordinary work by taking care of missing old man by feeding him every day and handing over him to their family safely.
It is to inform that on 06-10-2019 the constable was performing his duty at Aaramghar meantime he saw one old unknown male person roaming on the road, on which he took him to road side and advised him not to move on roads. Later the constable saw his condition and offered him tea and biscuit.
On the next day the missing man saw the constable and came to him and hand signalled him to give food, seeing him under starvation he arranged food to missing man and continued to feed him for next five days. Later he interacted with him and asked his personal details but he did not reveal anything and given a clue that he is Bengali. On which he opened Google translate app and started conversation of missing man on Google translate app and came to know he is resident of Uday Narayanpur Village of West Bengal and his name as Madan Malik.
Basing on the information he contacted with Uday Narayanpur PS and revealed that one of the person from your PS jurisdiction was missing and found at Hyderabad and request the staff of Uday Narayanpur PS to talk with missing and collect his personal details. Later Uday Narayanpur PS verified with the missing complaints lodged in their PS and summoned the family members of missing man to their PS and contacted over phone with the constable Vijay Kumar where the family members of missing man requested him to take care of the missing man upto their arrival and then confirmed the missing man as their family member through Whatsapp video call made by constable Vijay Kumar. On which the matter was informed to K.Prasad, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad Traffic Division, Cyberabad and with his help he was lodged in rescue home at Rajendranagar. Later on arrival of his family members the missing man was handed over to them safely on 14-10-2019.
The extraordinary work done by constable Vijay kumar was appreciated by Sri. S.M.Vijay Kumar IPS., DY. Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad and Sri. K.Prasad, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad Traffic Division, Cyberabad. A cash reward was given to the Constable.
