Former Union Minister and senior leader from the Congress party Chidambaram has praised the AAP and Kejriwal for winning the elections. He was overwhelmed at the AAP victory.
Mahila Congress Chief from Delhi Sharmishta was upset at the way Chidambaram was praising the AAP. She questioned Chidambaram if the regional party have outsourced the work of defeating the BJP to the Congress party?
Instead of bothering about the drubbing that the people gave to the Congress, Chidmabram was celebrating the AAP victory she ridiculed. She also asked Chidambaram if they would close the Congress shop as they did not get even a single seat in Delhi.
Both Chidambaram and Sharmishta tweeted their opinions.Out of the 70 seats, Congress party lost deposits in 65 seats. In fact, Congress helped AAP in defeating the BJP in majority of the seats. The BJP lost some seats with a slender margin.
Sharmishta opined that it is better to close the Congress shop rather than talking about the Congress victory.
