Jagan Mohan Reddy the Chief Minister of AP made some hard-hitting statements in the Assembly today. He was speaking after the election of Tammineni Seetharam as the speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
Jagan reminded that the TDP when in position grabbed the MLAs from YSRC and made negative politics. Now the YSRC can just grab 5 MLAs from the TDP and then Chandrababu would lose the status of the leader of the opposition he said.
If I follow the same old methods of the TDP and Chandrababu, there will be no dignity and ethics in the Assembly he stated. He was making a speech for thanking the members on the election of Tammineni as the speaker of the house.
Some of them have suggested me this he explained. If I do this there will not be any difference between Chandrababu and Jagan he stated. I am here to do the right and clean politics Jagan explained.
Jagan clarified that if at all any MLA of the other party wants to join the YSRC, they must resign to the MLA post and then come to the YSRC he suggested. Otherwise, the speaker will disqualify them he warned. There is no question of changing party without resigning to the post he said.
The Speaker and the leader of the house in the last government, behaved as they liked he condemned. But that was not the right way he opined.
The leader of the house and the Speaker must act as per the constitution he suggested.
