Blast at a religious gathering- 3 killed

Three people were killed and many were reported to be injured during a religious congregation in Amritsar. The meeting was of the Nirankaris . It is reported that two people came on bikes with masks and threw grenades at the people in the congregation. While 3 of them died several others were injured.

Around 250 people were there at the Nirankari Bhavan. Three died and more than 25 of them were injured in the blast according to the local police. Leaders from the political parties expressed their condolences. An alert has been sounded by the police in Amritsar and the police are looking out for the two men who have hurdled the granites.
