You have any transactions to be done in the banks. Do it now. That was the news . But now the centre has clarified that there is no closure of Banks. Except for sunday. Only Sunday Holiday. Monday optional.

But the rumour was that next 5 days the banks will be closed. September one is Saturday next is Sunday. In some states and areas, the Banks are closed. But the rule is that the banks are closed and second and fourth Saturdays.

September 2 is Sunday and 3rd is Janmasthami that is Monday. The RBI employees are going on a strike on September 4 and 5. The banking operations will be affected. But now the news that there is no closure except for Sunday.

On the other hand, many banks have changed IFSC codes. SBI has closed some branches which were running in the name of SBH and the new name is SBI. All the SBH accounts are hanging in balance. There is a rush today in all the banks because of the proposed closure of the banks.

After the demonetisaton, the functions of the banks were affected. The people suffered and that continues. The system is yet to stabilise.
