AP CM Jagan to meet KCR

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be meeting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here today at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad. The agenda is to resolve the issues of water sharing between the states.

It may be noted that both the Chief Ministers have resolved to sort out all the issues amicably and walk together on the path of development.

Jagan would be meeting the Governor of Telangana first and then would go to KCR. Jagan is also getting ready to travel to Jerusalem from Hyderabad.

The first gesture was the Chief Minister of AP giving away the buildings in the Secretariat to the state of Telangana. KCR the CM has already moved forward and started the construction activity here at the Secretariat. On the other hand, KCR also has agreed for the diversion of Godavari waters from Telangana to Srisailam.

KCR said that there was no need for the Governor’s intervention nor the centre if the states can sit together and resolve the issues. As part of the strategy, the Chief Ministers of both the states will be sitting together and finally resolving the issues related to the interstate matters.

TRS working president KT Rama Rao and other ministers along with the officials are expected to participate in the meeting.

2. Usage of Krishna and Godavari waters.
