All-round appreciation for KCR

Several prominent personalities have hailed efforts made by the Telangana State government to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the State. They have announced large-scale donations as their contribution to the government’s efforts. Shanta Biotech Promoter and Padmabhushan awardee Sri KE Prasada Reddy met Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan here on Thursday and appreciated the measures taken by the government. He handed over his personal contribution of Rs one Crore and 116 Rupees through a Cheque to the CM for the CM’s Relief Fund.

KNR Constructions owner Sri Kamidi Narasimha Reddy met the CM and handed over a Cheque for Rs one Crore to the CM for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Laurus Labs CEO Dr Satyanarayana, ED Sri Chandrakanth Chereddy handed over a Cheque for Rs 50 Lakh to the CM’s Relief Fund and announced that they would give one lakh hydroxychloroquine Tablets.

The CM thanked all the donors who made their contributions and for appreciating measures taken by the government to prevent spread of the virus. The contributions made by the donors will support the programmes taken by the government and also inspire the official machinery, the CM said.

Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Company Limited (MEIL) has announced a donation of Rs 5 crore to the CM’s Relief Fund. MEIL MD Sri PV Krishna Reddy handed over a Cheque for Rs 5 Crore to the CM at Pragathi Bhavan. The CM thanked the MEIL Group.

Hyderabad –based Meenakshi Group came forward to give Rs one Crore to the CM’s Relief Fund. Meenakshi Group Chairman Sri KS Rao, MD Sri C Sivaji handed over a Cheque for Rs one Crore to Minister Sri KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan.

GPK Exports and Imports owners Sri Phani Kumar, Ms Karnala Sailaja Reddy have donated 4,000 N95 Masks for the use of Telangana State government doctors, to IT, MAUD, Industries Minister Sri KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan here.

Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) donated Rs one Crore to the CM’s Relief Fund. CREDAI representatives handed over the Cheque to Minister KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan.
