Karan Johar the Dharma production head has made tonnes of money by distributing Baahubali in Bollywood. Now he is looking at Rajinikanth’s 2.0 . There is a talk that Karan is mesmerised with the movies from the South.
Earlier people were used to big budgets and mega movies from Bollywood only. But Shankar and Rajamouli the directors from the south are investing hundreds of crores for the movies. Rajamouli has done Baahubali with around 600 crore, now he is doing RRR with another Rs 500 crore. Shanker has done 2.o with 500 crore. So South is ahead in making films with big budgets like Bollywood.
Thugs of Hindostan was made with around 300 crore but it bombed a the box office. When compared to Bollywood, South industry is taking all the risk and doing movies with big budgets and also getting collections at the box office.
After Baahubali now people are waiting for Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumars 2.o.
