Many of them have written off the Thugs of Hindostan, but the very first day they have collected Rs 50 crore in Hindi and it could other 2 crore in Telugu and other languages.
It was chided on the social media and some of them recommended not see the movie. But it has done exceedingly well on the first day. It is the highest collection on the first day of a movie for the year 2018. After seeing the movie some of them have said that it is a family movie.
The Yash Raj films which has produced the movie are a happy lot and that they were first disappointed at the initial talk and now they are enjoying the fruits of labour. it has to be seen how it would sustain in the coming week.
But one thing is for sure, that Aamir and Amitabh have done the magic for the movie despite a bad talk in the beginning. The film was made with a budget of around Rs 200 crore. One has to see how Aamir would promote the movie and collect his profits.
