1. Grains ,pulses and Vegetables especially green vegetables should be taken.
2. All the foods that you take must have high fibre content.
3. Foods that you choose must be low in fat and saturated fat.
4. Use tone milk and not the milk with full fat.
5. No fatty meat and processed meat products.
6. Use the methods of steaming, pressure cooker and boiling rather than frying and roasting.
7. No cakes, biscuits and kharas.
8. Avoid or take less sugar and salt.
