Minister for IT KT Rama Rao today urged that the election commission of India must initiate steps to reduce the election expenditure in the country. He pointed out that in the Presidential election at America unprecedented amount of money was spent and corruption could not be prevented.
He was talking during the launch of a book by name scams are here to stay, written by former Hindu editor N Ram. He said that the children from the school level must be taught on evils of corruption .
It should be prevented at any cost he opined. Saying that India is one of the largest democracies, he said that corruption can be prevented with political will.
